There has been a petition created by a secondary student, Ammar Mahmoud, that urges the government to take action on the genocide occurring in Gaza right now. It demands legislation to be passed by the Australian Government and States to call for a Ceasefire in Gaza and amplify Palestinian voices.
It currently has over 7,000 signatures and will be soon presented in Parliament where it will be tabled to the state House of Representatives to be discussed in the future.
